Position Summary

This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the plant production floor, breakroom, bathrooms, and offices. Sanitation team members work with various chemicals in wet, damp or hot, humid environment(s).

This position pays $20.23/hr.

This position has a mandatory, rotating bi-weekly schedule of the following days/times:

Week 1

Sunday - 10:00pm to 8:00am (overnight Sunday shift)

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday - OFF

Thursday and Friday - 4am to 2pm

Saturday - 6am to Completion

Week 2

Sunday - OFF

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday - 4am to 2pm

Thursday and Friday - OFF

Saturday - 6am to Completion

Responsibilities

Must be able to work overtime as asked/required

Understand and follow verbal and written instructions.

Practice good safety habits and have a good safety record.

Practice good manufacturing practices (GMPs).

Have and maintain good attendance.

Practice good housekeeping at all times.

Must be able to work with support groups to make sure lines are ready to start on time and minimized downtime.

Must know product specifications and how to maintain correct specifications and lines speeds.

Must be willing to lift up to 50 lbs.

Must be willing to work 8-12 hour shifts - standing.

Must be willing to work in a production environment requiring safety glasses, hair/beard net, face shields, facial coverings, hearing protection, and rubber boots. All PPE is provided by Tyson Foods.

Must be willing to withstand hot environments

Perform additional tasks as needed to include, but not limited to cross training in other areas.

All Tyson Team Members are responsible for safety. This includes but is not limited to personal safety and food safety.

Requirements :

Must have at least 6 months of continuous work experience with at least one employer within the last 12 calendar months.
