This position starts at $15.25/hr. with a shift increase for second and third shift and potential for overtime. We have open positions for first shift.

This facility operates five days a week and produces Sausage Patties, Sausage Links and Roll Sausage.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the proper slicing and control of patties, while also adhering to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set up work area with all needed equipment.
Slice tubes of meat and processing through the ross slicer.
Replace wax paper on stacker when out. Clean up all scrap and trash off line at end of the day and work area housekeeping.
Ability to see and distinguish material to be worked on and around.
Monitor production area for trash and food debris on floor.
Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor or Superintendent.
Uphold principles of SQF 2000.
Ability to communicate effectively with company employees and all levels of management.
Familiarity with the safe operation of production line conveyor equipment.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have basic math skills.
Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to work on and around machinery and chemicals.
Must be able to perform the following task for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.
Must be able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours.
Must be willing to pinch/grip product and place into specified location.
Must have at least 3 months previous manufacturing work experience with a single employer within the last 12 months.
Internal: Must not have more than 5 attendance occurrences. Must not have a disciplinary suspension on file in the past 6 months. Must be in your current position for a minimum of six (6) months unless this job is a higher class than you currently hold.
External: Must have at least 3 months previous manufacturing work experience with a single employer within the last 12 months.
