We are searching for an individual who has had a taste of internal communications and is ready to learn more. You will report to the senior director of internal communications and be part of a dynamic and critical function at the company. This role will provide the foundational skills needed for a successful career in communications.
Job Description
Responsibilities
Develop, prepare, and disseminate employee communications related to global comms initiatives, programs and events
Plan and execute virtual and in-person meetings (All Hands, Q&A sessions), including reminders, post-meeting surveys, video replays, etc.
Webmaster for internal web site
Maintain editorial calendar to ensure smooth execution of content and events
Manage messages sent via email, MS Teams, and ensure distribution lists are current.
Measure success of internal communications channels and events, and make recommendations based on data and insights
Desired Characteristics
Familiarity with apps and software such as MS Teams, Sharepoint, Photoshop, Camtasia, WordPress, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Design/visual communications expertise
Ability to work well within a team environment, both virtually and in person
Understanding of global audiences and cultural sensitivities
Demonstrated strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
Team player attitude with ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and a learning mindset
Creative thinker, with proven ability to generate new ideas
Qualifications
Successful communications internship; 3-5 years of experience focused on internal communications
Bachelor’s Degree; major in Communications, PR, Business Administration or Marketing
Prior work experience that includes written & verbal communications, web site management, events, and project management
