Anderson Bakery, a Kroger Company, is in the city of Anderson in the beautiful area of Upstate South Carolina. We have been in business under the Kroger name since 1979 and are currently producing bread, muffins, and rolls for Kroger grocery stores in the southeast. Under new leadership, our facility has seen significant improvement in the last year in terms of process reliability, efficiency, and average run time and are continuing to improve our key plant indicators and our plant culture.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Perform with mastery the required tasks and duties for the designated responsibilities of one or more operational positions, as determined by core team composition and crewing needs. Must maintain timely progress through assigned operational training. Must flexibly perform a variety of roles in a team-based environment. Perform all jobs safely, efficiently and accurately to maintain and improve the performance of the entire plant in the areas of Safety, Quality, Reliability (SQR) and our Customer 1st strategy. Provide leadership that embodies our 7 Kroger Manufacturing High Performance Work System principles. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:
*Must be at least 18 years of age *High School diploma or GED *Must demonstrate reliable, punctual attendance including participation in rotational scheduling *Highly self-motivated, with ability to work well both independently and as part of a team *Effective problem-solving ability *Active listening skills *Effective oral/written communication skills *Positive, approachable demeanor *Able to work in a fast-paced environment and readily adapt to change *Basic reading (comprehension) and math skills (counting, addition and subtraction) *Basic mechanical reasoning skills
