Job Summary:
Ensure manufactured products are manufactured, modified and/or reconditioned to industry and/or company specs using industry standard inspection methods and equipment
Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform various inspection activities including but not limited to the following:
inspections of products manufactured or modified per industry/company standard
stamping of product identifications;
inspections of received raw stock materials/customer supplied product;
witnessing of hydro testing activities;
final inspections of assembled product for shipment; and
conducting in process inspections as instructed etc.
Understand engineering drawings, quality documents and procedures and fill out quality forms accurately, completely and legibly;
Understand the use of dimensional inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and thread inspection equipment of all types.
Initiate nonconformance reports on parts and product that do not conform to quality requirements;

Minimum Job Qualifications:
2-5 Years manufacturing experience, oil and gas experience would be an asset.
Computer experience preferred, Microsoft Office 365 program experience would be an asset. Prior SAP Optimus experience would be an asset.
Ability to use inspection equipment such as OD/ID Micrometers, Depth Micrometers, Ball Micrometers, Dial and Vernier Calipers, Plug and Ring Thread Gages, Dial Bore Gages, Indicators, Gage Blocks, Hardness Testers for Brinell and Rockwell tests, Thread gages for measuring form, depth, lead, and taper. Calibration of these gages using a Mic Trac measurement standard and Gagetrak calibration software would be an asset.
Ability to use time management skills, intermediate math, reading, blueprint interpretation and writing skills within the scope of the job responsibilities and have equivalent skills, experience, and abilities to commensurate with job tasks.
Ability to effectively communicate with company employees, suppliers, and contractors in carrying out job duties.
Forklift certified/qualified would be considered an asset.
Ability to safely use tools and equipment assigned to you.
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent minimum/experience.
