POSITION SUMMARY
Candidate will program for CNC woodworking machinery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Generate CNC programs utilizing Router-CIM Automation Suit and WoodWOP
Understand specifications of the task and the desired result by reading drawings, cut sheets & cut lists etc.
Work with operator to trouble shoot machining and programming issues.
Continuously strive for performance improvement
Required Skills
Proven experience as a CNC programmer
Skill in programming CNC machinery and understanding tooling as well as precision measurement tools
Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
Mechanical aptitude and excellent math skills.
Basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Router-CIM (Router-CIM automation experience a plus)
Required Experience
Two-year associates degree preferred
Background in woodworking field preferred
