SUMMARY: This position is responsible for all Manufacturing Finance Accounting and Analysis Functions in Prepared Foods. This position manages $7 billion Cost of Goods manufactured by company owned plants and co-manufacturers. As the business partner to the SVP Operations and Manufacturing VP’s, this position helps drive efficiency of the production network, delivers aggressive productivity goals, and help shape long-term strategic road map of supply chain. The specific responsibilities of this role include: financial forecasting including identifying risks and opportunities to the forecast at both the plant and business unit level; ensuring compliance of controls and standard practices leading the annual budgeting and standard cost setting process; providing thought leadership in driving operational excellence; managing financial system, turning data into information and insights; balancing short-term deliverables and long-term strategic goals.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Certifications: Undergrad degree in Finance, Accounting
Experience: 15 years with demonstrated progression
Computer Skills: adept at Office systems including Excel; SAP knowledge is also beneficial
Communication Skills: Able to communicate at all levels of the organization
Special Skills: People leadership, Thought leadership
Supervisory: 5 direct reports with extended team of 100
Travel: 10 or more domestic trips per year
