Packer Operator 2nd amp 3rd Shift

Profile

Monitor the robotic equipment for supply needs, jams, safe and efficient flow of operations. Maintain minimum inventory to support production. Operator Care-Basic lubrication, inspection adjustments, repairs, cleaning (CLAIR LEAN Manufacturing), and sanitation. Contribute to a continuous improvement environment by participating in activities to include line side problem solving. Contribute to a safe and organized work environment by maintaining a clean and orderly workspace. Stock material from inventory location to robotic equipment. Perform perfect packaging checks and safely and efficiently resolve jam ups and equipment malfunctions. Operate a mechanical pallet jack safely and efficiently. Identify material quality defects and take appropriate action. Weigh rework using a floor scale and Human Machine Interface (HMI) workstation. Operate handheld digital scanner.

Applicant must have manufacturing experience. Applicant must be willing to work currently available shift, overtime, and weekends if required. Must be able to bend, twist, and stand for long periods of time. Ability to perform basic math skills. Ability to draw conclusions based on analysis of data from multiple sources. Must be willing and able to lift, push, or carry up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment and requires repetitive motions. Must be able to stand, bend, reach overhead, and twist for long periods of time. Must be able to stand 8-12 hours a day on hard floor. High School Diploma or GED.
