Job Summary

The Melt Operator I is responsible and authorized to operate machinery and also assists in the process to produce quality finished product.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

*

Inter -company communications & communicating status of production runs
*

Maintain clean working environment.
*

Follow company applicable procedures, policies & work instructions.
*

Perform other tasks as directed by management.
*

Run machines to all stated parameters.
*

Inspect parts to ensure customer specifications are met.

Education and Experience Requirements

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent, preferred not required

Skills and Abilities

*

Knowledge of handheld measuring equipment
*

General knowledge of mechanical function.
*

Vision needed to work with and test small parts.
*

Detail oriented.
*

Ability to lift 50 lbs.
