The Operator will perform routine tasks related to the feed production including quality control, ingredient and feed processing, manufacturing and load out, ingredient receiving and storage, equipment maintenance and housekeeping. The Operator must possess a strong work ethic, customer focused, hardworking and desire to work as a team member. This hourly position has the opportunity for growth, and comes with a complete benefit package!. rnrnTraining will take place on the day shift lasting approximately 3 months (i.e. - 7am-3pm, 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm)rnAfter Training period the standard shift will be 5pm-1amrnrnPrimary Responsibilities Include:rn- Daily operation of equipment to process and manufacture feed productsrn- Operate the bagger, sewing machine, forklift and all feed manufacturing equipment safely and efficientlyrn- Follow warehouse and loading protocolsrn- Ensure KNG's quality assurance is met regarding ingredient receiving, load-out, and baggingrn- Record and document all feed manufactured during shiftrn- Mix and prepare livestock feeds efficiently assuring accuracy and high qualityrn- Assist management with production scheduling, inventory planning & control for both ingredients and finished productsrn- Assist with equipment maintenance and repair as neededrn- Load and unload trucks in a safe and efficient mannerrn- Provide excellent customer servicern- Observe and enforce all company policies & proceduresrn- Perform general work around the facility and other duties as assignedrn- Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulationsrnrnEducation and Experience:rn- High School diploma or GEDrn- 1 plus years of manufacturing experiencern- Farming background a plusrn- Mechanical aptitude preferredrnrnOther Qualifications:rn- Basic computer knowledgern- Good communication, verbal, written and math skillsrn- Able to effectively communication with customers, co-workers and customersrn- Ability to work as a team memberrn- Thorough understanding of cGMP'srn- Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements, HACCP Feed & Safety Plan, and FSMArn- Ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs from floor to working height as job requiresrn- Ability to operate a forkliftrn- Ability to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperaturesrn- Must pass pre-employment drug screenrn- Willingness to work 2nd shift
