Job Description:
To provide pressure equipment integrity assurance and inspection services to Asset Owner in assigned Operating Units’
To ensure all pressure equipment are designed, fabricated, inspected, maintained, modified and repaired in a manner that provides pressure equipment integrity and cost effective reliability.
Equipment within the Inspection Engineer’s responsibility include: pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, pressure relieving devices, valves and piping.
To ensures compliance with pressure equipment related regulatory requirements, codes and standards, and recommended practices.
Works closely with the Corrosion Engineer to identify potential degradation mechanisms, establish inspection schedules, monitor equipment condition, analyse inspection data, document condition history and make recommendations to ensure safe, reliable operation of pressure equipment.

Requirements:
Job Requirements:
At least a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 10 years of inspection engineering experience in oil and/or petrochemical industry or, degree in Metallurgy/Materials science/Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of inspection engineering experience in oil and/or petrochemical industry.
Familiar with relevant codes and standards relating to pressure equipment and piping inspection.
Able to perform inspection of pressure equipment and piping independently.
Good understanding and familiar with safety practices involved in inspection / NDT works.
