This medical supply manufacturing facility is just a 5 minute walk from the bus stop at University Ave & Eustis St. Manufacturing Technicians are responsible for manufacturing, assembly and/or packaging of medical device products. This position is eligible for 2 bonuses within your first 90 days with good attendance. Referral bonuses and part-time arrangements are available! No previous experience needed, High School Diploma required.nu00a0n5 positions u2013 Monday-Thursday u2013 6:00 am u2013 2:30 pm - $19/hournnManufacturing Technicians will be trained and follow standard operating procedures, environmental health and safety guidelines and any other related regulations which could apply to the specific job.nGood Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) will be followed during the manufacturing of our medical devices and associated device documentation.nEquipment used by the Manufacturing Technician will depend on the specific job.nnEssential Duties and Responsibilities:n1. Perform one or more functions on the assembly lines including but not limited to:n- cutting, weighing, processing tissuen- mixing of solutionsn- washing components or equipmentn- wrapping components and or equipment for sterilizationn- assembly or gluing of componentsn- packaging and sealing of devicesn- preparing devices for sterilizationn- final packaging or labeling of productsn2. Perform daily cleaning of the production area to maintain in GMP fashion.n3. Operate general production equipment (sealers, autoclave, stir plates, etc.)n4. Receive and distribute supplies into the production area as necessary.n5. Adhere to all safety protocols and wear proper safety gear at all times while on the manufacturing or warehouse floor.n6. Perform other duties as assigned.nnQualifications:n1. Must be able to read, write English and perform basic math skills as job duties require.n2. Good interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.n3. May require work in a clean room environment wearing special garments (e.g. scrubs, hair bonnets, frocks, hoods, masks, gloves) based on the Class level for each Clean Room.n4. Personal protective equipment (e.g. safety glasses, face shields, protective sleeves, aprons) will be based on the safety requirements for each area.n5. Overtime may be required at times.nnPhysical Requirements:n1. Must meet local physical requirements:nu2022 Ability to sit or stand for minimum of 8 hoursnu2022 Must be able to lift up to 25lbs individually or up to 65 pounds as part of a team lift.n2. Occasional pushing of carts with product or containers of solutionsn3. Occasional pulling of carts with product or containers of solutionsn4. Repetitive hand motionnu2022 Requires frequent object handlingnu2022 Requires frequent fine hand coordination.nu2022 Requires frequent simple hand grasping.nu2022 Requires frequent firm hand grasping.n5. Requirement of 20/25 vision (with or without corrective lenses)n6.
