This level requires a higher level of dexterity, physical ability, and coordination to keep up with our fast paced production lines.u0026nbsp; This position may also support training of other Lawn and Garden Department employees.u003c/pu003enu003cpu003eu0026nbsp;u003c/pu003enu003cpu003eu003cspan style=u0022text-decoration: underline;u0022u003eMajor Responsibilitiesu003cbr /u003eu003c/spanu003eu003c/pu003enu003culu003enu003cliu003ePerform change overs and setup of all poly steel operations such as die change, coil change, pad print cleaning and setupu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eRun/assemble all products, including understanding material and machine requirements, while meeting required production and quality ratesu003c/liu003enu003cliu003ePerform and record quality test readings for hardness, paint adhesion, water temperature and workmanship standards for shovel forging productionu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eDemonstrate the understanding of the machine requirements (standards) to be able to produce at productivity rates consistently to the standards within the department workedu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eMaintain a clean and organized work areau003c/liu003enu003cliu003eAddress rework as requiredu003c/liu003enu003cliu003ePerform quality welds while meeting production rates on all close back shovelsu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eDemonstrate the understanding of all required paperwork to include but not limited to, the Bill of Materials (BOM), Hour x Hour sheet, basic tool prints, communication boards, standard work documents, quality visualsu003c/liu003enu003cliu003ePerform operator fundamentals including: simple problem solving including ability to clear routine machine jams, identify and fix routine/repetitive problems, notify appropriate support person if unable to resolve problem themselvesu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eRegularly perform primarily pre-scheduled job duties at a normal pace;
