Job Description:
What is the purpose if this role?
The successful candidate will be part of Lubricants Supply Chain - Los Angeles Lubricants Plant operations team starting as a Warehouse 2 operator. The position is responsible for the support of packaging and warehouse operations including running packaging equipment, driving forklifts, managing warehouse inventory, loading and unloading trucks.
What types of activities will I be involved in?
The successful candidate will be involved with the following activities:
Safely and efficiently operate packaging machinery and material movement equipment
Identify and implement equipment improvements to increase plant reliability
Communicate verbally and in writing to operators, employees, supervisors, and others regarding the identification of problems with productivity
Perform duties to distribute products to applicable areas, load, unload trucks, and support packaging lines
Perform equipment changeovers, supporting preventative maintenance and cleaning equipment.
Contribute to keeping process materials records
Maintain good housekeeping practices
Keep log records of operational activities for optimal and thorough handover to other shifts.
Understand and perform physical inventories
Maintain a positive and safe work attitude
Comply with all HSSE regulations, policies, standards, practices and actively participate in improving plant safety culture

What type of attributes, skills and experiences are we looking for from a candidate?
At least 1 year experience working in a packaging plant or similar experience in an industrial plant or military environment such as prior Military experience in a relevant job function including warehousing, supply, logistics and forklift operations
Recommended having previous experience working with high speed, high volume material handling equipment, forklift, filling bottling, canning experience preferred
Must support a drug-free, harassment-free work environment and comply with the safety and diversity & inclusion policies
Must be able to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the requirement of a visa.
Must possess a current, valid license to operate a motor vehicle in the United States
Recommended practical knowledge of industrial safety standards
Successful candidates must reside within 60 minutes of the site or be willing to relocate to within 60 minutes of the site without relocation assistance.
Must be flexible to work overtime, nights, and weekends when the need arises.
Must be at least 18 years old, with a minimum High School diploma or GED.
Fluent in English. Able to read, write and speak English.
Need to be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted
