Profile

As the Project Manager of Injection Molding you will be called upon to lead the Production groups through the implementation of process changes. You will provide robust solutions aimed at continuously improving our existing internal systems, collaboration with external suppliers, and introducing new products into the workspace.   While working in the Production group, you will be collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering groups, across the company, as well as with Quality and IT. You will resolve problems throughout the business and will apply your creativity to implement adaptations and modifications throughout much of Penumbra!

rnThis role is unique as it merges Lean/Op Ex methodologies, Mechanical Engineering aptitude, and Plastics Processing experience with technology development. The successful applicant will love solving complex problems and have a proven track record of implementing solutions.

  • Develops and coordinates the technical activities of an effectively organized and functioning team.  Is responsible for constructive resolution of any intra-team conflicts

  • Coordinate with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure effective rollouts of new operational capabilities and technology

  • Communicates project/project status to project manager and senior management at points of significant scope change or conflict

  • Work with products, customers, training teams and users to create documentation for training

  • Execute training, or coordinate training plans, for stakeholders on how to use a tool during rollout

  • Define ways to measure impact and effectiveness of implemented change

  • Oversee the build of prototype interfaces and dashboards in SAP, Tableau and/or Anaplan

rnWhat You Bring

  • 3 years of Production, Manufacturing and/or Engineering experience specific to: injection molding
  • rnt
  • Problem solving and judgment skills must be very strong. Verbal and written communication skills are critically important
  • rnt
  • Education: BS, plus three years of directly related experience
  • rnt
  • Agile, goal-oriented personality, driven to succeed and always up for a challenge
  • rnt
  • Strong analytical abilities. Consulting or human-centered design experience helpful
  • rnt
  • Experience utilizing software in enterprise environments
  • rnt
  • Experience scaling international or global programs is a plus
