Medical Device Design Engineer
Position Summary:
The Engineering Technician
is a self-starter problem-solving engineer that can overcome obstacles when prototyping and verifying new designs and processes.
These Engineering Technician
duties will include:
Designing innovative parts
Assembly of prototyping using finite tools in a lab setting
Fabricating using 3D and preparatory assembly machines
Design and build simple tools and fixtures for prototype completion
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years medical device or mechanical or aerospace device manufacturing
Solid Works - cRio, 3M
Documentation and critical analysis
Prior manufacturing/production experience is a plus
Observant - Critical and active participant in technical reviews
Demonstrating leadership skills as an Engineering Technician
using methods including workflow, layout, assembly, and production equipment. With a team player mentality to motivate, address, and compromise. Using these skills to problems solving with attention to detail. An Engineering Technician
will implement lean Six Sigma programs for benchmark safety.
