Job Description:

Process Operator position at a Catalyst Manufacturing location.


Be trained and qualified in the functions of an operator classification and operate these functions as assigned.
Perform in-process analytical testing, analyze in-process test results and apply appropriate corrective actions.
Perform minor routine and preventative maintenance.
Complete all required records and provide detailed summaries in shift reports and operator hand-offs of mechanical problems, repairs, quality and safety issues and process changes.
Maintain all assigned areas to housekeeping standards and conduct work safely in the manner described in procedures and Job Hazard Analysis.
Work directly with maintenance to create operating permits, lock-our operating equipment and monitor work areas.
Receive training to be certified in operation of powered industrial vehicles and use in routine tasks.
Receive and utilize training in the operation of computer software and tools required to manage daily work tasks.

Requirements:


Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full time basis
Be at least 18 years old
Willingness to work at heights, climb ladders and stairs, walk on high elevation grating, work in inclement weather, work around loud industrial equipment, and work in confined spaces and outdoors with reasonable accommodations
Able to work while wearing a respirator or Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA)
Willingness to work in an environment that requires the daily use of computers
Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule; which will require work at night, on weekends and on holidays
To attend to emergencies, successful candidates must reside within 90 minutes of the site, or be willing to relocate to within 90 minutes of the site without relocation assistance
Willing to be on call and meet call-out standards to respond to site responsibilities and emergencies
Must currently hold or be able to qualify to receive a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card.
