Job Summary:
Setup new production machining, including layouts, tooling and equipment setup, etc.
Assist with transition from development to production, including first articles
Working with engineering to document and standardize production processes
Interface with production leads, supervisors, manager and QA to ensure timely customer delivery
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct discrepancies by modification, rework, repair, and/or maintenance
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurrence control
Hands on programming, set up and machining of 3 and 4 axis mills, multi axis lathes, and development of critical machining processes
Ensure product quality and conformance to engineering specifications
Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for area safety and efficiency
Perform routine maintenance functions such as daily clean-up of work areas to support 6S and Lean
initiatives
Learn quickly from mistakes, absorb knowledge from mentors, take ownership, cross-train others and deliver results
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships,and contribute to a culture of
inclusion

Minimum Job Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
5 years of direct tool & die or machining experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to work effectively with a strong work ethic and close attention to detail in a fast-paced dynamic team environment with rapidly changing roles and responsibilities
Ability to interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, written work instructions, and test
procedures
Basic mathematics skills
Tooling and fixture design
Experience machining the following materials: nickel-based stainless-steel alloys (inconel, monel, etc.), copper, aluminum and/or titanium
Basic computer skills such as Windows, Microsoft Office, etc.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to climb ladders/stairs and work in small restricted areas
Ability to lift heavy items up to 44 lbs. if needed
Work off-shift, extended hours overtime, and weekends if/when necessary.
Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.
