Special requirement: Ability to run CNC equipment (slitter and pleaters) and computer competency Maintain a safe workplace for self and fellow team members via compliance of safety policies and procedures. Produce product in timely manner while following all Quality system requirements Strong verbal and written communication. Ability to read and interpret blue prints. Forklift certification capable Capable of proficiency on all types of equipment and setup of equipment used in work cell within 60 days of hire; Function as lead if multiple person requirement Proficient in all aspects of inspection gages for the area after training period end and ability to train other employees Proficient in all aspects of paperwork for the area within 30 days. Ability to train team members. Ability to lead Lean events and high performnace teams as required; ability to train team on Lean methodology Participate in 5S activities per Manager request. Troubleshoot problems as they arise; Strong problem solving skills. Must be able to work and thrive in Team environment. Must be able to work overtime when required including weekends. Other assignments as assigned by Management. MINIMUM REQUIRMENTS: Citizenship: US Citizen or Permanent Resident Alien Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Vision: 20/25 vsiosn corrected or uncorrected Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in manufacturing environment Communication: For safety and quality, must be able to read, write & understand English Mechanical Aptitude: High Strong Math skills three digit addition and subtraction, multiple digit multiplication and division. Converting fractions to decimals. Ability to follow formulas for conversions (ex: SF to LF). Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
