This position is responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment used for the manufacturing and packaging of floor coating materials, including:
Following assigned production schedule, including processing of batch tickets.
Operating production mixers for the purpose of producing batches.
Following all Environmental, Hazard and Safety regulations and guidelines, including active participation in SMART and other safety programs.
Reading and understanding written processing instructions for various products.
Performing and participating in general housekeeping activities.
Participating towards completion of other related tasks and duties as directed or needed.
Minimum Qualifications: Able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate English
Must have the legal right to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship now or in the future for employment work visa status
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to work overtime with or without reasonable accommodation
Preferred Qualifications Experience with continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma, 5S, Lean manufacturing, Transactional Lean, etc.
At least 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience operating a forklift
