We are also working to secure vaccine availability for our Team Members.u00A0u00A0POSITION SUMMARY:u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0The Chiller Operator is responsible for set-up, operation and maintaining chiller operations to keep the flow of product consistent between 1stu00A0and 2ndu00A0processing.u00A0ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESu00A0include the following. Other duties may be assignedu00A0Assist with start-up or end of production tasks for chilling system (per schedule)Monitor chillers for water temperature, volume, PH, and PPM levels per SOPMakes adjustment, keeping maintenance and production personnel informed of any concernsMonitors water flow and assist in water management related to chillersBasic understanding of anti-microbial agents and pathogen controlBasic knowledge of Infinity, ability to read and understand the information presented and respond to alarms in the correct manner.Calibrates monitoring equipmentAbility to work different line positions as neededHelps with training of backups as needed Maintains reports for shift manager Conducts additional testing in other areasu00A0u00A0u00A0EXPECTATATIONS u2013u00A0all Team MembersObserve & enforce all company personnel, quality, safety, and food safety policies.Maintains a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you work effectively and cooperatively with customers, clients, coworkers, and leadership teams.Participates in process improvement and problem solving utilizing continuous improvement and rational thinking methodologies such as Six Sigma.Recognizes and acts on incidents and safety risks.u00A0 Consistently practices, and enforces safe work habits and drives those habits throughout the organizationu00A0u00A0KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIESDemonstrated ability to read, write and speak EnglishDemonstrated ability to perform basic math skills including: addition, subtraction, division, multiplication and percentage calculationsAbility to pass a Prove It testAility to pass a POET testAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to work in a cold and wet environment and other departments as neededAbility to work with minimal supervision while keeping leadership updated on issuesFlexibility to perform various tasksAbility to communicate and work well with othersExcellent attendance is required for this positionTo perform this job successfully, applicant must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
