Roles and Responsibilities
Examines documents such as blueprints, drawings, change orders, and specifications to verify completeness and accuracy of data.
Monitors due dates for drawings, specifications, technical manuals, and other documents.
Manage the flow of correspondence into and out of the Company; ensure outgoing documents are accurate, comply with company standards and policies, route correspondence to correct associates; and protect and secure confidential and proprietary information.
Copy materials; organize, maintain, and safeguard files and databases.
Monitors status of project to ensure documentation is submitted according to schedule.
Reviews and verifies project documents for completeness, format, and compliance with contract requirements.
Submits project documentation to management for approval, and transmits approved documents to customer.
Distributes documentation to the project team and customer for review and comments.
Receives, distributes, and tracks comments received from the customer.
Confers with engineers, managers, customers, and others to discuss project and prepare documents.
Confers with document originators or engineering liaison personnel to resolve discrepancies and compiles required changes to documents.
Posts changes to computerized or manual control records, releases documents, and notifies affected departments.
Prepares reports
Requirements
Experience in controlling engineering, manufacturing or construction documentation is essential.
Strong knowledge of document and data control work processes, EDMS document control software and numbering systems in an EPC environment.
Experience in using Content Server and Team Center EDMS software is preferred.
Experience of SAP computer systems (or equivalent) preferable
IT Skills to include MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word & Outlook.
Advanced to Fluent English

Ability to develop and implement metrics to monitor performance
Experience in delivering effective training to small groups.
