Assembly Labourer
We are a global supplier and manufacturer of industrial and explosion-proof unit heaters and thermostats for hazardous and severe duty locations. The primary function is Shipping and Receiving as a member of the manufacturing division
Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm - overtime when available.
Responsibilities
Reads and interprets Detailed Work Instructions
Mechanical Equipment assembly and Basic Electrical understanding.
Use of hand tools, power tools including air tools.
Use of wood cut-off saw and nail guns.
Cleans, QC’s and checks component parts for any defects.
Ensures all equipment is clean and functional.
Assists with the maintenance and repair of fabrication equipment.
Assist Engineering staff on support issues related to product assembly.
To take reasonable care to protect the health and safety of him/herself and of other workers present while at work.
Qualifications
Hold a valid grade 12 diploma
Work experience in a manufacturing environment preferably mechanical or electrical assembly
Forklift License would be an asset.
Above average communication skills.
