This position is responsible for setting up and operating equipment that mixes or blends ingredients used in the manufacturing of food products while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
This position is responsible for mixing Marination for the line, according to the ingredient specifications. The Marination Operator measures the temperature of the Marination each hour and performs Marination pick-up tests once per half hour. The operator records the results of the Marination test on the Process Monitor. The Marination Operator is also responsible for cleaning and maintaining the filtration system.
Must be able to perform each job function satisfactorily by demonstrating that they can multi task with the process of Marination attendant. Keep injector tank full and monitor the process every hour, while keeping the filtration system clean and maintained. An individual must be able to perform all the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
Be alert and safety conscious at all times. Must be able to understand ingredient labels. Basic computer knowledge. Work in cold/wet conditions with ranges of 40-50 degree temperatures. Ability to lift 70 lb bags of ingredients. Must Wear PPE and follow all safety policies and procedures.
