What you find at SCIEX u2014 and within yourself u2014 might just change the world!We're looking for a multifaceted Lean Leader to join our Danaher Business Systems (DBS) in the beautiful San Diego, California Metropolitan area. The Leader will work within the Carlsbad operations leadership team to transform lean capability through continuous identification and prioritization of capability gaps, implementation of Standard Work (SWK) through core DBS tools, and development and implementation of completely new DBS tools to enhance SCIEX lean operations.This is a highly relational, hands-on role where you will get exposure to a broad range of business areas and engage with world class talent and technology. This person will work closely with the Director of Carlsbad Operations. The incumbent will own how we leverage DBS to drive visibility and improve lean operations.The DBS Leader u2013 Carlsbad Operations has the following responsibilities:nPartner with operations leadership to develop and deploy a DBS Roadmap (how to use DBS tools to drive sustainable results).nWork Operations to develop and manage a funnel of DBS Lean initiatives to achieve strategic plan objectives.nFacilitate Leader Standard Work with senior operations leaders to actively drive leader-led DBS engagement.nTrain and install foundational capabilities in PD, Action Planning, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) management.nSupport value-stream leaders to deploy, improve, and sustain standard work for key operations processes.nWork with Carlsbad Operations and Global Operations organizations to create KPI bowlers and Visual & Daily Management to sustain DBS Lean capabilities and operations performance.nWork with functional Ops teams to install and drive effective Gemba daily management (DM) and problem-solving processes (PSP) to find root cause and countermeasure for driving/delivering operations plans.nIdentify best practices, standardize, and share across sites. Benchmark and incorporate best practices.nSchedule, charter, and facilitate Kaizen projects.
