These positions operate machines to ensure continuous flow of pork biproducts through the production process while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Positions have 4-day work schedule: Thursday-Sunday 5:30 pm - 6:00 am with 3 days off. Operate rendering equipment, troubleshoot, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment. Maintain housekeeping in work areas. Use computers to operate and monitor rendering operations and document results. Requires ability to work outdoors to load products into semis and railcars. Operate the rail car mover to hook up rail cars for transport and loading. Read reports and record daily production information. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Good organizational skills and effective verbal and written communications skills required. Must be able to read and comprehend printed manuals and procedures. Able to work around the sight and smell of meat and processing biproducts. Work at heights on ladders, cat walks and lifts. Temperatures are seasonal and range from below zero in the winter up to 110 degrees in the summer; lift 62 lbs. occasionally and stand on your feet on hard surfaces for 8-12 hours a day.
