The **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Company is looking for a Senior Engineering Technical Workplace Coach
in one of the following locations: Everett, Washington
; Seal Beach, California; or North Charleston, South Carolina.
As an Engineering Technical Workplace Coach, you will apply your skills and knowledge in providing technical support and learning solutions to the electrical engineering employees throughout the enterprise in support of Digital Transformation. This statement of work also involves enabling end users to understand their learning needs, helping them to define requirements and deploy appropriate learning solutions for effective knowledge transfer. You will be part of our highly skilled and diverse team effectively working together to provide point of need solutions to the electrical end user community.
Position Responsibilities:
This is a workplace coaching role. Your duties will include (but are not limited to):
Representing Technical Workplace Coaching to the engineering community
Defining, developing and delivering appropriate informal learning solutions based on identified performance gaps
Understanding Electrical wire harness design and installation knowledge and how systems interact
Providing appropriate level of technical performance support to increase skills and knowledge of users within the Engineering community
Maintaining a high level of expertise that supports the current roles, tools and processes
You will be expected to coordinate and collaborate with key stakeholders and partners by:
Providing business specific technical subject matter support to the learning design development teams and training suppliers
Providing technical consultation to enterprise engineering process and tools teams
Partnering with learning or support organizations to provide quality and timely support solutions to the engineering community
Helping user community to develop informal learning solutions
Being an advocate for the user community to Learning & Development organization
Accuracy and quality are key. You will be expected to:
Proactively solicit and evaluate feedback from partners and stakeholders
Perform analysis on learning solution effectiveness and provide improvement recommendations
You will work under general direction
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. US Person includes , lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.
The requirement will be a combination of on-site and remote work.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Experience coaching or teaching others towards improved performance or meeting developmental objectives
Experience with Model Based Engineering tools such as 3D Experience (3DX) or CATIA
3 years of experience working directly with manufacturing engineering, design engineering & Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience using electrical design tools (i.e. Mentor Graphics Capital, WIRS, CEEDS)
Experience using Systems Engineering tools (i.e., CAMEO, CORE 9, etc.) for Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
Working knowledge of Design and/or Manufacturing Engineering processes and how they are being utilized in the industry
Bachelor Degree or higher
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master 8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).
