POSITION PROFILE
To dispatch, expedite and/or procure timely deliveries of raw components to support manufacturing lines and meet on time and cost objectives.
MANAGEMENT BY OBJECTIVES (MBO’s)
Coordinate with the Lubin Materials Supervisor to develop annual plan supporting all goals of the department and organization including but not limited to:
Health & Safety
Associate Work Life
On-time
Productivity
Cost
Quality
Customer Satisfaction
Support ISO certifications
Required Skills
BA/BS Degree or equivalent in work experience
3 years manufacturing experience desired
Minimum 1 year production/inventory control or procurement experience
Required Experience
REQUIRED SKILLS
Tactical planning to support the Demand Flow production process
Kanban management
Monitor inventory levels to objectives
Reconcile any parts shortages
Timely disposition of rejected material
Assist in scheduling process
Significant interaction with Production & Warehouse personnel
Review MRP and place orders with assigned vendors
Communicate delivery issues supervisor & production
Resolve quality issues and handle disposition of non-conforming product
Support lean manufacturing processes & continuous improvement
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
Strong verbal & written communication
Analytical
Motivated to solve problems
Ability to work in team environment to coordinate materials, textiles & production groups to meet customer requirements
Good organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
JD Edwards experience or strong ERP background
Working knowledge of inventory management programs
