Production Worker

Profile

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The production worker sorts product in multiple departments. Separating bad product that our machines are not capable of detecting.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Observes and removes faulty product parts from assembly line.
Ability to work in a high paced environment.
Affixes labels, company logos, and other exterior details to products.
Packs up completed products and prepares them for shipment.
Keeps factory floor clean.
Adheres to all safety guidelines dictation the production and handling of materials in the factory.
Ensures that all production deadlines are met.
Reports issues or problems with production to immediate supervisor.
KNOWLEDGE, ABILITY AND SKILLS:
Dedicated team player.
Proactive
Basic English comprehension
Manufacturing environment experience is a plus.
Possesses knowledge of the structure and function of production equipment.
Is able to identify problems or malfunctions
with machinery and equipment.
Demonstrates analytical thinking and problem-
solving skills necessary to troubleshoot production issues.
Pays close attention to detail.
Exhibits ability to work cautiously but efficiently in potentially hazardous conditions.
Is familiar with all factory safety procedures and guidelines.
Works efficiently and manages time effectively.
Possesses physical strength and stamina required to stand, walk, and lift for long periods of time.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED a plus
Previous Manufacturing experience is a plus and recommended.
WORK ENVIORNMENT:
Standard 40-hour workweek applies.
During the season we expect employees to work overtime including the weekends
Working hours will be spent in the factory or warehouse.
Moderate to heavy physical activity such as walking and lifting is required on a daily basis.
Safety gear, such as goggles, gloves, and helmets should be worn on a regular basis.

Must be available and willing to work any shift and overtime required by the job.
