JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to be responsible for writing programs and the operation of CNC machines. They should be able to multitask on a variety of projects and troubleshoot programming problems to facilitate their work.
CNC Programmer Responsibilities
Program, set up and operate a computer numerical control (CNC) machine to produce machined parts.
Generate CNC programs for machining centers/lathes.
Programs mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points, offsets.
Set up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting chucks, tools, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops and stock pushers.
Troubleshoot programming on the shop floor
Investigate and implement improvements in machining techniques

CNC Programmer Qualifications
Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in manufacturing and programming for 3-4 axis mills and 2 axis lathes
Must have experience G and M Code Programming experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be a self-starter and motivated to excel
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
